The Story

Join us as we learn about The Greatest Story ever told. In this 31-week series we will go through "The Story" the book that puts the entire biblical story into chronological order. In 31 weeks we will cover the entire Bible and get a fresh understanding of God. This series will be used across all ministries in the church so you'll be able to discuss this with your kids as well as discuss this in a small group setting.

The Core

The CORE. Four week sermon series begins September 11, 2011. In this series we will explore the heart and vision of SCC. This will be a key time to unpack what drives us to make a difference in our community. Check out the Core Values page to find out more.

The Redeemer

The entire Bible points to Jesus Christ as the Messiah who would provide the path to reconciliation with God. Join us this holiday season as we look at Jesus’ role as The Redeemer from Old Testament to New.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found is at the very heart of God. Relationship has been broken and God wants it restored. He created us to know Him and be Known by Him. We will see through this series the scarlet thread all throughout the Bible His desire to have relationship with us. He desires for all people to know Him. There is no SIN that is a match for His Grace. Come as we explore the heart of God for this world and expereince His glory unleashed.

Does He Really Listen?

Twenty-one days Daniel waited, praying to God without an answer. Job was a man who suffered immesurable loss without one peep from the Almighty. And what about the 500 years of silence between the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, where God's people waited for the Messiah?!?!

Sometimes, it feels like a one-way conversation.

Join us as we explore whether or not the God of the Universe has time to listen...to you!

Close Encounters

Join us for the next several weeks as we explore different people in the BIble who had encounters with God and were never the same. (Moses, Jacob, etc.)

Freedom

Join us this Fall as we journey through the book of Galatians. Christianity is NOT about following a certain set of priciples so that your life will be better until heaven. In the book of Galatians we will explore LIFE in Christ that brings freedom that we can experience right now in our daliy lives.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again... (Galatians 5:1, NIV)

Kingdom Reality

We have systems for living. Over the course of our lives we have built these systems out of our pain, woundedness and lies. It impacts our marriages, families, and friendships. We seek to change our lives through being more committed to God. The reality is that we end up more frustrated in our journey trying to fix ourselves and others. During this series of Kingdom Reality we will seek to uncover the lies that we believe and seek the TRUTH-Jesus Christ to demolish the systems that have kept us in bondage for years.

The Royals: Modern Day Priests

The Old Testament is filled with all kinds of increcible pictures of who we are in Christ today. Join us as we walk through the clothing of the Old Testament Priests and the various offerings the priests gave oversight to as we continue to journey together releasing Christ in our lives. Our reality is that we are Modern Day Priests in Christ.

I Peter 2:9, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Living Fully Alive

Join us as we explore God's Word in our journey to "Live Fully Alive". We will be looking at our identitiy in Christ, our authority in Christ and how to fight our day to day battles.

Each week there will be a study guide that will compliment the sermon. The Study Guide will take you daily through different places in the Bible that will challenge, encourage and help you to rethink how you are really living. FREEDOM AWAITS YOU!
