THE FUSE (youth group for 7th-12th graders)

• Meets Sundays at SCC from 6:00-7:30 PM for fun, fellowship and growing in God’s word together.

• WINTER JAM 2010 - Christian Music Concert Tour Spectacular Friday, March 26th at Eastern Michigan University. Meet at SCC at 5:45PM. COST: $10 @ the Door. Invite friends! Questions? Contact Marcus Flood.

• Pure Performance Presentation for Students and Adults March 29th from 7- 9 PM. John Underwood, an Olympian coach and former NCAA All-American will be speaking at Saline High School about the effects of drugs and alcohol on athletes. He is President and Founder of the American Athletic Institute.

AVENUE 456 (for kids in 4th-6th grades)

• Game Night on Thursday April 1st from 6:30 -9:00 pm. Kids meet at SCC for pizza and games. Invite your friends out for some fun! Questions? Contact Pastor Marcus.

• Beulah Beach Summer Camp Discount registration ends on March 15th. This is a Christian and Missionary Alliance camp located in Vermilion, Ohio. There are many exciting camps to choose from. Pastor Marcus will be a camp counselor during the week of Splash Camp.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY (for kids up to 6th grade)

• Hunt for the Cross An Easter egg hunt for kids up to 6th grade, will be held on Easter Sunday, April 4th, following the service at SCC. Friends are welcome.

• Community Sports Camp (for kids K-6th grades) June 21-23 Save the dates and tell your friends!! This is a sports camp for all skill levels where we focus on a different virtue each day.

WOMEN of SCC (All women and friends)

• Women’s Evening Bible Study meets Monday from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at the Eppinga home. Contact Jodi Eppinga with questions.

• Women’s Daytime Bible Study with Jill Staples meets Wednesday from 9:45 am - 11:15 am at the home of Wanda O’Hara. Contact Jill Staples with questions.

• Women’s Retreat: Unthinkable Love March 19 – 20 in Lima, OH. All women are invited to attend. The cost is $35 plus hotel room and gas. Registration ends this weekend. Go to www.shawneealliancechurch.com or contact Heidi Rufener.

MEN of SCC (All men and buddies)

• Men’s Breakfast Group- Saturday at 8:00 AM at the Saline McDonald’s. All men are invited. Questions? See Dave Hawkins.

• Men’s Day of Strength – Braveheart: One man’s journey to lead his people to freedom. Saturday, March 27th from 8:30am -12:00pm at the Great Lakes District Office of the C&MA, 2250 S. Huron Pkwy, Ann Arbor. All men are invited to learn about being the man God wants us to be. Contact Dave Hawkins for more information.

MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS & SERVING OPPORTUNITIES:

• SCC Membership If you are interested in becoming a member of Saline Community Church or if you have any questions about it, please contact Pastor Peter or one of the Elders (Scott Adle, Brian Parkin and Tim Eppinga ASAP. We are planning a membership class for late March/early April.

• First Fruits Join us on March 21st when we will present our first fruits offering to Ele’s Place.

• Donations wanted. We need donations of wrapped candy for the Hunt for the Cross. If you would like to donate please bring candy (individually wrapped) to church by March 28th. If you would like to help with the event, please contact Pastor Marcus.

• Community Sports Camp Meeting Our first meeting is on March 25th at 9:00 am at ‘My Favorite Café’ in Saline. Everyone is welcome!! If you would like to help or have questions, but are not available to come to the meeting please contact Kim Nouhan or Pastor Peter.

• Sound Team needs help during Sunday morning worship. Twice/2 months schedule. If you are interested or have any questions about what it entails, please see Chris Nouhan.

• Prayer Team-If anyone is interested in being involved in the prayer ministry please contact Kim Nouhan or Pastor Peter.

• The FUSE is looking for volunteers. If you are interested in becoming involved in the youth ministry, please contact Pastor Marcus.

• Team Leaders and Service Projects wanted! On May 2nd, we will have a shortened worship service and break into groups to go out and serve in our community and then meet back together for lunch. We are looking for people in Saline with a service need (about 1-2 hours projects such as lawn cleanup, small repairs, painting etc.) If you know of someone in our community that is in need of help or if you are interested in being a team leader, please contact Pastor Peter or Kim Nouhan.

• Saline Senior Center is looking for volunteers to help with the Meals on Wheels deliveries. If you are available 1x/week or month or more, please contact the Saline Senior Center or Pastor Peter.
